Yes yes yes never leave the kitchen when cooking as I have learned too, and the hard way. My burnt list is a lot longer, rice, just like you, an eggplant curry more recently, boiled eggs that ran out of water to simmer in, and my best performance was roasted eggplant in the oven that turned to coal. What can I say, I am a slow learner.

I wish you were here too! I was truly horrified about spoiling the rice. Never before and, I vow, never again!
