Giving away the shoes is the worst. I remember well.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this. ❤️🧡

My mother gave away my father's shoes but I brought home his shirts and various pairs of shorts, the ones he wore in the last months of his life. And they fit me (although the shirts are definitely cut for a man) fairly ok, so I wear them quite often. It's a bit of a bittersweet thing because I bought most of them for him at that time.

Yes, I gave many of Tashi's clothes to his friends. I wear a few of them. And I wore a few of my mother's clothes in my twenties, after she died...connection is precious

Boots - so sorry, beloved woman. Very good boots. Fit for purpose. Consolation is to found in such things. Xxx.
